how is the crowd in august

i would like to go at IOA between august 14 and 20 how is the crowd?

We've gone during August the last few years and we discovered that the later you go in August the better. It should be busy but manageable.

Crowds will still be on the busier side till after the 19th when the schools down there go back in session.I looked at 3 crowd calendars and they all show crowds dying down after the 18th( hotel rates also drop on the 18th )Which is why I picked that week

Crowds will be lower at that time than they will be early August. However, with Transformers and the new Springfield area opening this summer, expect crowds to be larger than normal.
