How is the chocolate bread pudding at lecellier?

Looking at the menu (I am that obsessed), I really want to try the risotto, but I prefer new york strip to filet, so it looks like my best option is the chef's excursion IF the dessert is awesome. Anyone know?

The risotto was very good, by the way - and they'll substitute sides for you, if you ask, or even bring it out for an additional $2-3. That's what I did, just asked for a side of the risotto. I liked it better than the wild mushroom risotto at CG.

Well...we were just there a two weeks ago and for the chef's excursion they told us absolutely no substitions...it was very frustrating as my daughter really likes the cake but she would have preferred a filet (which would have cost more) but the steak on the excursion was fine anyway...but she does not like risotto at all. We had them bring it out and I tasted it but she didn't eat any...and then they were surprised when she didn't eat it. I told them we were doing the excursion solely for the bread pudding (which they would not sell to me separately).

I need to write them a letter about this all but anyway good luck.
