We are staying at the Beach Club in November of 2006. Is it all that everyone says it is?

We stayed there once (concierge), totally last minute and it was the only thing available. We didnt know what to expect, but its safe to say we had a good time. Spent a lot of time around the resort and in the lounge. Our room was nice but we had a view of the parking lot which isnt very exciting. In reality, the whole point of staying there was to be in the area. We loved going back and forth from MGM to Epcot. :3dglasses

Our family stayed at the Beach Club once. The BC is a great resort with the best pool of any Disney resort. SAB is reason enough to stay at BC (or YC). It's a great resort.

I "like" BC but as Ahhhh said it's location why we're returning next year. My DH loves walking to Epcot & over to the Boardwalk at night. I love the Polynesian.

pirate: It really has been a while since our last stay at the BC since we've been staying at the Poly. for the last few years. Quite honestly we've always enjoyed the BC, and all it's amenities that go along with it!!! I just hope that the rooms have had a rehab since our last stay which was several years ago. Just my 2 cents!!!! Chip.

I really liked the Beach Club, I wouldn’t say it has the best pool, but it is very good. Wilderness Lodge had a very good pool. The boardwalk is a huge plus and being close to Epcot and MGM is even bigger for the Beach Club. I have not stayed in all hotels in Disney so can’t say for sure, but Wilderness Lodge is the best I have stayed in so far.. but then Animal Kingdom when I go this month might beat that, however I find it hard to think it could.

I do think it’s worth it, however when you compare the price of the Deluxe Resorts, sometimes you have to say, I could save £3,000 if I stay at another Deluxe Resort and I could use that money to buy loads of other things that will make the holiday really cool. Of course if money not an issue then don’t base it on that.
