I will be at CSR from the 22nd - 29th with my DH and DD14. I will have a sign in our window giving a DIS hello. Maybe we will run into each other! I have never stayed at a value but have stayed at all the moderates except CSR which is why we are trying it this trip....that and the fact that it looks great and seems to get more good reviews than bad! Plus last year we stayed at WL and to tell you the truth I was a little disappointed there! I think I built it up so much based on other reviews that I was expecting it to be more that it was. POR is our favorite so far and we have stayed there multiple times. So even though several people rave about CSR I'm just going with an open mind and no preconcieved ideas! I've never had a bad Disney trip anyway and that's where I'll be so it will be all good!!

I have been trying to convince my DBF to agree to another Mickey trip this year. I am a teacher and we go back after Labor Day. I'm teaching summer school right now, and I do need 1-2 weeks to set up my room, but I've been trying to get him to agree to a trip for late August. If I do, I will bring my Lime Green Mickeys! My family loved our stay at CSR a few years back - I'd stay there again in a heartbeat! We're at Pop this time by DS's request - it is his birthday celebration, after all.

We are going to be there Aug. 5-21. We have been later in August the last two years and it was very nice. Hot but never waited in line for more than 20 minutes. We are taking advantage for our annual passes which is why we are going a bit earlier. We like to get up and going early and take the break midday and go back in the evening. We did all the busier rides first thing in the morning and then if it wasn't busy we did them again at night! I am sure you will enjoy, no matter what!

Will be there 8/17 - 8/24, staying at WL. Wife is a teacher in Maryland and the schools start day after Labor Day. She is back in school shortly after we return.

DW and I went 7/8 - 7/13 for a convention, and it was quite crowded, but we have found later in August to be much less crowded and more enjoyable.

Sorry, Suzq9241, won't be seeing you at any of the DW resorts. We're proletariats: aka "offsiters". The Fountains will have the pleasure of our company this year.

Popsicle....we just booked at the Royal Plaza near DTD. Do you have any experience staying at this resort? It is our first time staying off-site....any good tips would be appreciated! Thanks!

My sister, my son and I will be at the Beach Club Aug 24-29. We've been in mid-late August a couple of times and find that the crowds are pretty manageable. It's hot, but the hours are still pretty long. (Oh, and generally, we notice that there are a lot of European visitors at that time. Sometimes we felt like we needed to speak with a British accent to fit in.

This will be our third trip at that time of year and it has been very hot and humid but bearable crowds. Using Fastpass for the major rides and no more than a 20 minute wait at the others.

We will be there too. August 12 - 21. Hopefully us Disers will have the parks to ourselves! Yeah, I know that I can keep on dreaming.

We will be on the Dining plan and staying at ASMusic. It will be me, my Husband, my Four year old little Tinkerbell (although she just chose a 'Belle' costume for her Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique visit), my 11 year old niece and my parents.

We went during that time in 2004. Hot, but if you swim in the afternoons you'll be ok. The only concern for us was Hurrican Charley. It actually closed the parks for a day - we did get a day of free tickets, but at the time it was annoying. But, before that and even the days after, the parks were quite nice - not too many long lines. Just be sure to get ponchos (or bring them!) Have fun!

We'll be traveling to Disney World for our annual Disney family vacation August 18-25, 2006. We're staying our first night at POP CENTURY and then traveling over to WILDERNESS LODGE for the remainder of our vacation. I think if you can brave the heat, the latter part of August is a wonderful time to travel. Crowds are lighter than any other time during the Summer. We were just in Disney World last November during Thanksgiving and the crowds were scary then. This is the second time we've traveled during August. See you there!

Count me and my bro in too - Aug 17-22nd. I was in the world the last week of the month a couple years ago and didn't wait for anything - can only cross my fingers and hope for the same luck.

We'll be there also-August 19th-27th at the Poly. We stayed at the beach Club Aug 6th-13th in 2002. We thought the crowds were light but there was no free dining. I hope it's not too crowded but either way we are so excited!
