I was thinking of a November trip and was wondering how the crowds are
the 2nd or 3rd week of November? I thought they might be on the low side since it's after the Food & Wine Festival, but before Thanksgiving? -- I'd probably be looking at going the full week before Thanksgiving. Is it very rainy then? Hot still?

We went last year in November. We planned the trip so we would miss Jersey Week. Later we realized we had booked the last week of Food and Wine, the Festival of the Masters and Super Soap Weekend. (I can't remember our exact dates - I think it was around November 8-15) Turned out it was a wonderful trip - we worried about crowds etc. for nothing. The weather was beautiful. Hot but not unbearable - a little cool at night. Two days were not really swimming days so we used them to really do the parks. One hour of rain. Crowd level was really manageable. We stayed away from Studios and DTD during the weekend. Food and Wine was spent eating our way around the World Showcase with the kids in strollers one night. (I may be one of the only ones that wasn't that impressed with the food. It was ok when you realize they are essentially serving out of carts..but other than the lamb chops from New Zealand I wasn't loving it. Maybe I hit a bad night). All and all I would be thrilled to do November again. We'll be back in February - hoping for OK weather and crowds then.

We were at WDW for a week in the first half of November 2003. The crowds were light and we were uneffected by either "Jersey Week" or the tail end of the Food and Wine Festival. The daily highs were in 70's and 80's and most (but not all) nights were warm enough for a dip in the pool. There is nothing like the joy of floating around in a pool at 8 pm at night in the middle of November!
