How is Swan's standard view??

I just found out our free trip to Swan(tho im not complaining!) ia a standard view. Can you see any fireworks or anything from there? Or is it just like it says, standard.

We had a view of the TOT. I had no complaints at all about our view. We booked using hotwire and I expected a dumpster view and would have been happy with a parking lot view. Instead, we had a great view - but not a full view of fireworks!

We were above the parking lot but we had a view of the BW to the left and TOT to the right. I just tried not to look straight ahead

We too had a standard room with a govt. rate. I never really expect much and we dont spend that much time in the room so who cares. This april we got a view of the parking lot with the tower of terror to the right too. Last time our view was looking across to the dolphin. That time we got to see what is behind the giant clam shells... huge air conditioning units of course!! We only request for a room close to the elevators since after a long day in the parks we dont want a hike to the room too etc. Works out well for use since the ice machine is always near by too.

We have had a standard view twice. The first time it was a corner room on the 3rd floor. We had a view of the BW and the Epcot fireworks from one window, and we could see TOT from the other. The second trip we has a viewof the Swan pool and the Dolphin hotel. Our ressie for our upcoming trip list a water view. I can't wait to see what the view will be!
