How is Spoodles lately?

We have an ADR for dinner at Spoodles next week. I got a bit concerned when I saw that it was going to become a buffet in July and then close and transition into the new place going in there. My concern is about the quality of food and service at a place that is about to go through some big changes.

So, has anyone been there lately and would care to share their experience?

Well, I can see that the service would be different - because Guests will be serving themselves... from the buffet

But I would expect the quality and the level of service to remain the same; all CMs involved still have their integrity (and, likely, comparable jobs - either at the new restaurant or somewhere else onsite).

Right, but we are going NEXT WEEK before they turn into a buffet....

My husband and I ate there about 3 weeks ago and everything was still great as always. I don't know what I'm going to do when I can't get their olive tapanade and focaccia bread.....and the ziti. I am very VERy upset about this restaurant closing.

We ate there last week and considered it one of the best (if not the best) meal of the week. The staff was extremely accomodating and some of the best we had. It was our first trip to Spoodles and we are sad that we won't have the chance to eat there again.
