How is QS meals at the AKL?

We're going deluxe since our almost 3 year old twins would probably love AKL and they have the zero entry pool. We are going in Sept. during free dining, so probably most of the day's we will be near the pool for lunch. Is the quick service food OK at AKL? Would you suggest traveling to other resorts to have lunch? Thanks for any help, Linda

Go to www.allearsnet.com , and click on dining and then resorts. They have all of the menus on there so that you'll have a good idea of what they have.

The quick Service food is good. We stayed at AK in January and ate there for breakfast. They have a good selection of breakfast foods from pastries to poptarts. It is much like the food areas in the All-Star resorts.

We enjoy eating at Mara - and we've never even stayed at AKL.

The Mara, as counter service restaurants go, is first rate!! Their entree size salads are freshly tossed and delicious and the African Stew is out of this world! Enjoy!!
