I am not sure if this is a buffet or sit down. Does someone know? Is it good food? I hope the kids like it.

My other choice would be Kona because Ohana dinner is booked.

Thanks! :)

This isn't a buffet or a true sit down. This is a family style meal. They bring out eggs, bacon, sausage, bread, fruit, etc. The food is ok. Not the best but good. They will give you as much as you want. The pineapple bread is really good. The characters are alot of fun. Overall, it is a good breakfast.

Kona is a good breakfast too. It is a true sit-down meal. You order your own plate. I'm in love with the Tonga Toast there. It is thick toast with bananas inside deep fried and rolled in cinnamon and sugar. So Yummy.

I know we tried to get O'hana for dinner and struck out too.

We last did Ohana breakfast in August 08, it was so cute and so much fun!

we love the food, and mickey waffles are so good!! It's all you care to eat, and they will bring you more of whatever you want.

the kids in our party really enjoyed it, we had 5 kids with us ranging from 13 to 6 at the time, and everyone had fun and enjoyed the little parade around the restaurant.

more than anything we enjoyed the character interaction! they were so playful and even the 6 year old how is petrified of Chuck E. Cheese, loved spending time with Stitch and the gang

Super good mango/orange/pinaple/apple/dirtysocks....uh...don't know what kind of juice it is, but its very good.

I have been to the Ohana breakfeast EVERY time i visit disney. I love it!! We normally do it on our last day there as a farewell meal :goodvibes

The pinapple bread is really yummy..and they have my fav character stitch.

We have dinner here every year and will be trying breakfast this time as well;) We are really looking forward to it!!

We liked it too! 'Ohana had some of the best character interaction...especially Stitch! The food was good, including the juice, and we would do it again. It wasn't our favorite character meal, but certainly worth it, and we were pleased that we went, our kids really enjoyed it. :thumbsup2

DH and I had a great time! We did the 7:30 am and were seated right by the windows where the door the characters come out of..it was pefect. The food was excellent, we were able to order the pressed pot coffee from Kona, the characters were alot of fun....I would do this again for sure.

If you are thinking of Kona for the Tonga Toast, someone on another thread mentioned that they were able to add it at Ohana breakfast. They thought it was $5 or so. We've never been to either but are planning on Ohanas in September, and I think we'll try to add the toast since everyone raves about it!

Ohana brkfst is one of our favorites - the food is pretty good & we love the relaxed polynesian atmosphere + Pluto & Stitch are hilarious!

This sit down breakfast is yummy. The bread is unique. It is great to have the fresh fruit but the juice is the best part.

The characters are more fun than at other character meals IMO. They spent a lot of time with DS (then 8) who wore a Stitch shirt and had a stitch clip on toy and a Stitch gun. All the characters, except Lilo kept returning to our table to steal and return ds's toys. DS had a blast (Stitch is his favorite - if you haven't guessed by now). This was so much fun!

We missed this breakfast last trip (our trip was cut short by a death in the family). We make our August ADR's on Wednesday and this is top of the list!!!

This is an all you can eat family style meal. We went about a year ago merely for the opportunity to meet Stitch, who I can never seem to find in the parks (surprising, I know!). We thought that the food was typical buffet breakfast food and did think it was good. I had a great time with the characters and think it is a nice place for a family meal.

Please excuse me 2Tiggers, I don't mean to hijack your thread! :)

Can anyone confirm what characters are currently at 'Ohana for breakfast? I understand Lilo & Stich, Mickey and Pluto. I've seen pictures on Allears that shows Minnie. Is she still there?

We've never eaten here either and we're really leaning towards it.

Thank you!!

Heather

Ohana's breakfast is an absolute must do for us, we always go on our last day, it's a great way to end the trip!

I have never seen Minnie there, only Mickey. ENJOY it, it's so much fun!:goodvibes

We did the Ohana breakfast pre-Lilo & Stitch (we had Mickey, Goofy, Chip & Dale), and thought the food was really good - the pineapple bread was one of my favorite food items of the whole trip. As others have explained, it's all you can eat, but served family-style at your table. I would happily do breakfast there again.

We had breakfast here in December of 08. loved it. We sat by the window so you could see outside. Food was good and our daughter has been shy with the big head characters (as she calls them) all week and of course on the last day we were there she decided to love Stich (??). Go figure...anyway the food was great, character interaction was good. We eill definatley return in 2010.

We ate here on 5/14 and all really enjoyed it. (It was DH, myself, DD 8, DD8, and DS 6/12.) All of us liked it. We had Mickey, Lilo, Stitch, and Pluto. The kids had fun in the parade around the restaurant.

The food was very good--hot and fresh. We somehow got missed when they were passing out the fruit plates, but I asked our server and she immediately brought out two for the 5 of us. She was great!

The kids didn't love the special juice--she told us it was guava and OJ--but she brought them milk very quickly.

The cinnamon bread and pineapple bread were especially delicious!

Character interaction was great! Our picture even turned out nicely! (They take your photo before you're seated, but you pay extra if you want to buy it.)

We opened up the MK for morning EMH hours, then headed to the Poly for a 10:30 breakfast. It was enough food that it functioned as "brunch" and we didn't eat again until after 6PM. We would go back!

Have a good trip!

We went in 2007. Our son really enjoyed it and we thought the food was great. I loved the mickey waffles. The characters were excellent as well. They spent a nice amount of time at each table and did a parade around the restaurant with the kids. Here are a couple of pictures.

Here's a picture of the skillet, we had already taken some food off of it. You also get bacon & biscuits.
