  1. Looking for advice on the best time to go in nov as far as crowds weather wait times and anything else that would help. Had to cancel our trip that was to start tomorrow so now looking into when we can go. Thanks all

November is great! Hurricane season over. Weather pleasant. Crowds doable. Plus if you go early November you can attend the tail end of food and wine!

Avoid Thanksgiving weekend.

If you go midmonth most of the Christmas decor is up which we love! The week in between Veterans Day and Tday is usually a decent week crowd wise as well.

we have gone the week before thanksgiving and this year we are going the week after we like this month the best

The Christmas parties will dig into your evenings at MK, but the crowds (outside of Thanksgiving) during weekdays aren't bad. Weather is usually decent, too.

Weather is usually still pretty warm but the humidity is a lot less than in the summer. It's rare when we're putting on pants or jackets in November.

We went one Thanksgiving week. First half of the week, weather was great and crowds were fine. From Thanksgiving Day on, weather was cold and crowds were high (but still manageable). Weather-wise I'd take layers and be ready for anything.

As others have noted, if avoiding crowds is important skip Thanksgiving week. The week before Thanksgiving week is usually less crowded. If Food and Wine interests you then early November.

The weather in November is usually pretty nice. Head to the weather channel monthly chart for the average high/low. While there also check the record high/low just to be prepared for that occasional hot day or, more importantly, that chilly rope drop morning.

Mid-November is great. When we went during this time, we had really nice weather (of course that can vary depending on the year). We also liked that it was pretty decent crowd wise, got the end of Food and Wine, and some Christmas decorations.

The federal holiday REALLY ramps up the crowds, so avoid it like the plague. Thanksgiving week is packed. Weather can be *anything*.

We did the week of October 29th- November 6th and it was great! Crowds were fairly low, Epcot was busy on the weekends with food and wine. We attended the MNSSHP on Halloween and it was amazing! The Christmas decorations around MK were partially up including the tree. The weather was great and if I could I would go again around that time.

We were there the day after Thanksgiving for 4 days. It was very crowded. The weather was beautiful. I loved having the park decorated for Christmas. I would think the week following Thanksgiving would be ideal if you want the decorations. The 2nd weekend in November is Jersey week...

Love Nov! Early nov is great, weather is fantastic, crowds are low, holiday decorations up. It's the best time to go IMO!

We went the week after Thanksgiving in 2016. We found that it was actually busier than what several friends who have gone that week had experienced in past years. Granted, it was not week after Christmas, holiday weekend or summertime crowds, but it was still busier than in past years.

Epcot was actually busier than when we went in late February - early March 2016. I suspect the free dining promotion and the Christmas show at Epcot caused the larger crowds. My wife overheard several people say that the only reason they went to Epcot was to see the Christmas show.

The weather that week was hot and humid. One day, they had record temperature of 86 degrees with higher humidity. And it sure felt like it! On our last park day, the temps had dropped considerably so that it was in the low 60s with low humidity.

We did November a couple years ago and it was actually chillier than it was this past weeks trip in January. We did enjoy Food and Wine plus the Christmas decorations. As someone said above, any week with a holiday in it seems to be more crowded. We actually spent Veteran's Day at SeaWorld. There was also a marathon the weekend we were there. The 6-10 has 2 days that schools could be closed, Election and Veterans day. I would try the 13-17!

Add another vote for it being a great time of year!

Before I had kids, our go-to time for Disney World was the second week in November. Few weeks before Thanksgiving (not a lot of people taking kids out of school prior to the holiday).

You'll see the holiday decorations and the weather is great and the crowds are light.

One year we did go the third week (with an early Thanksgiving) and the last few days were noticeably more crowded.

One thing to be aware of is that the first half of the hear includes "Jersey Week," when the NJEA holds their annual teachers convention for a few days and a sizable chunk of my lovely little state takes advantage to head down to Orlando. This is prominent enough that many planning sites and books factor it in (in fact, on some crowd calendars, you'll see most peaks associated with a named holiday or event, as well as this random, unnamed attendance bump in early November).

I was in Disney for Jersey Week in 2013, 2014, and 2016, and the crowds generally ranged from a 3 to a 7, depending on the park and the day. In 2015, with judicious use of FastPass+, we only had two waits of more than 20 minutes (one where we missed a cycle for a show, the other because we misjudged what Star Tours crowds would look like the month before the release of Episode VII). Most waits were 5-10 minutes, and many rides were essentially walk-ons.

The weather was hot on all three trips, generally upwards of 80. In 2014 and 2015, I believe there were multiple days that topped 90 degrees. Very little rain. Across all three trips, I think we got rained on maybe three times, with only one of them being a very heavy or prolonged storm.
