Last year we went to Disney from May 11-18th and it was great. No crowds at all. We were gonna go in the same timeframe this year but Mother's Day weekend falls in it. Is it going to be mobbed?

Also, when do the schools let out in the South? Thanks!

You should be o.k., here in Alabama most of the schools will get out the week after you are there. We were there last year for Mother's day and the crowds weren't bad at all. We had breakfast at CRT and then I think we park hopped after that. You'll have a blast!!!

Have fun

Last year we arrived on Mother's Day, we didn't plan it, it just happened. We went to Epcot and the MK and I didn't notice it was any busier than usual. They gave out free carnations at Epcot.

DS9 and I happened to take our Mom and Son (aka as the "Daxx couldn't get out of work") trip to WDW during Mother's Day in 2005. Totally planned the trip w/o thinking about the day Mother's Day fell on.

Crowds were not bad. Probably b/c it fell before Star Wars Weekends! We hit EPCOT, MGM & MK. I got a carnation and a courtesy photograph w/DS at EPCOT that was mailed to me. Very sweet. Anyway, the crowds weren't bad at all and the weather was outstanding! We swam a lot that long weekend!!!

In 2005, Mom and I spent the day in Epcot. Didn't seem unusually crowded.
