How is lunch at Coral Reef?

Do they serve steak at lunch (for me and dh) & would a 5 year old boy like it (as far as atmosphere) & one last ? -- is this located in Future World or World Showcase?

The food and atmosphere is great, just do not order the Lobster Salad!
Your son will absolutely love the HUGE aquarium wall; watching the fish and turtles is spectacular!

The Coral Reef restaurant is located in the Seas with Nemo & Friends building. We had lunch there in Sept. I had steak which was delicious and hubby had mahi mahi which was also good. Service and atmosphere were great. You son will be entertained watching the fish swimming in the aquarium.

Sorry to be the lone naysayer, but I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. We had the most horrible service that I've ever experienced at any restaurant--ever! We will never return to Coral Reef.

To be fair, the food was o.k. Nothing spectacular. The aquarium is nice, and we did enjoy that.

I loved Coral Reef. We were on Deluxe dining for 9 days and this was one of my favorites. I had the catfish & DH had the pork chop (which was fantastic.)

The bread & dipping sauce was soooo good. I'd go back just for that!

I too was looking forward to the Coral Reef. I had menus made for the kids and even a diver.

Unfortunately, our server really ruined the atmosphere. Not refilling drinks, wouldn't get the chef for my niece who is lactose intollerant (everywhere else-even the CS the chef came), messed up orders. I hope this wasn't because he thought he would automatically get an 18% tip (6 people).

I'm willing to give it another try. I just hope we don't get the same server, or he is having a better day.

Our experience was not so good for lunch. server was not good it was almost 2 1/2 hours for lunch, and there are better steaks to be had at WDW.
