Just wondering how late June compares to Easter crowds and the weather...

Thought of going next November, but everything closes early and we like to swim and I wasn't sure of the weather.

Hard decissions!!

Hello, I would like to know for sure also.

We are leaving on 6/25 and I am expecting it to be very hot, very humid and very crowded with rain at somepoint during each day.

But I don't care..... I will be in WDW :-))

We have been the last week of June 3 times(2000, 2002,2003). The first two times it was very hot and humid and there was a thunder shower everyday at 3-4pm(sometimes vey severe), but we toured early went back to resort to swim and relax in afternoon and back to parks at night. Crowds were big, but not as bad as Easter or Christmas week(we know by experience). Last June, it was an amazing week with no rain and perfect whether everyday with no rain! It was not opressively humid and just perfect touring and swimming whete=her. I would pick this time again, and as for November, the parks are not usually open late so you do miss some of the night entertainment and park access. Just pace yourself in June and it is very managable.

Weather is hot and humid, but the crowds aren't as bad as Christmas/Easter as long as you clear out a few days before July 4th.

I would definitely recommend staying on site though if you can. We stayed at the Dolphin last June and we're at the Swan this July. It makes it so much easier to go back to the hotel to swim. You definitely need a mid-day break when the heat is this bad. Oh yeah, and it rains almost every afternoon too. The showers are usually very brief and actually welcome because it's so hot.

I have been in June before and it was very hot and humid. I am going again next week, but that stuff won't bother me too much since I'll be in WDW! I have also been in early November, and I think it is a great time to go. The pakrs weren't open too late, but we were still able to see all the nighttime shows, all the rides were still open, and the crowds weren't bad at all. Not sure what late November is like though.

FYI: This June might be a bit more crowded than usual, on account of a REALLY big convention that will be in town. We are meeting from the 25th-29th, and probably half of the attendees are bringing families who will be hitting the WDW and USIOA parks at some point either before, after, or during the week. The convention (the American Library Assn.) is headquartered at OCCC on I-Drive, and has approx. 30,000 registered attendees.

Also just so you know, the group will be taking over US next Saturday night (the 26th) for a private function, so the park will be closing before 8 pm. There will also be a lot of related functions at Epcot on Sunday night, the 27th, so be prepared for several of the prime fireworks spots to be roped off.
