It is my second favorite park. I could ride Toy Story Mania, Tower of Terror, Rock'n'Roller Coaster, Star Tours, The Great Movie Ride, and MuppetVision 3D over and over and over and over...
I don't like the concept at all. Sitting in "Mom's kitchen" and getting scolded? No thanks. Can't say how the food is, though, having never been there.

I like the chicken sandwich at the Sci-Fi and the burger is OK. The shakes are very good. However, the food at Primetime was bleh and the service was even worse when we went.
There's a lot to do at DHS if you've never been. It's fun to see The Great Movie Ride, Little Mermaid, the Muppets, Animation tour and so on. Of course, there is also the mad scramble to Toy Story Mania. Get there early!

I thought the concept sounded fun and we had an ok time, but none of our kids want to go back. They don't really find the humor in being told to eat their vegetables by a stranger. Bad enough when they have to hear it from mom and dad all the time.
Mama Melrose seems to get a lot of criticism, but we enjoyed our meal there. It wasn't anything really memorable, but the flatbreads were pretty good and after Sci-Fi, it would be my first choice for a reasonably priced TS meal at DHS.
Yes, I was pleased with my two experiences at Sci-Fi, and was happy with my burger there. I'm not relly very adventurous in my dining when I'm in theme parks -- I don't want to "experiment" when I'm hungry.
Try going at lunch -- meal are less expensive and the menu is simpler. Go for the experience. Of all the WDW restaurants I've visited over the last 16 years, Sci-Fi is in my top three "most fun, want to go again" (along with Chef Mickey's and Whispering Canyon).
