How is Hollywood and Vine?

Ok...I may book it for breakfast. I am not a fan of buffet style food at anytime but I think I will bte the bullet so we can see Jake. Now he better be there

I'm one of those lonely people who really Like H&V...

Done H&V about 4 times over the years.... lunch and dinner....and F! Dining pkg...

It was one of the few placed that our family of Five could find something for everyone....

Last visit there... Me, Hubs, Picky DS, VERY picky DSD, and Newly vegetarian DSD2 ....

EVERYONE had a FULL meal so I felt we got our money's worth...

I loved the salads, the meat and potatoes. Kids loved the peel your own shrimp, and the kids buffet and OF COURSE the make your own sundae buffet. Hubs got plenty to eat too....

I understand the bad "rap" H&V gets... it's Disney and prices are high... but we understand that and I've always thought we did great at H&V.

Get the F! dining plan if you are going there anyway

We went two years ago, and are going again in two weeks. I don't remember enough about the food to have an opinion one way or the other(I would remember if it was truly bad). My wife, however, says it was great for our family. A lot of choices, and some "lighter" stuff to balance out what we find are usually pretty heavy meals at other TS restaurants(not that there's anything wrong with that).

I will say this, however....the character interaction there is top-notch. Not sure if it's because of the smaller crowd(when we were there, it was just us and one other family, for an 11-ish lunch time). But the characters came repeatedly, stayed a while, and interacted with the kids far more than characters did at any other meals.

In fact, it almost got annoying towards the end, as we were trying to finish our meals and JoJo(God rest her soul) came by for probably the fourth time.

It was a good experience for us. We're looking forward to the return visit. If it's OMG HORRIBLE, I'll be sure to let you know.

H&V breakfast was very good. We went for the characters since myDS watches Djr daily but he didn't pay them any attention b/c he was hungry. We had an early ADR @ 9 am & everything was very fresh & good. Better than the reviews. Worth it.

I was more than impressed with H&V Playhouse Disney Breakfast!


Ava is a *huge* PHD fan and I knew it was a must-do for us! I was spot on and it was perfect!


Oso, June, Jake, and Handy Manny were there









We found the food to be quite descent as well! Everything was piping hot and very fresh - the buffet was kept well stocked! I felt like there were lots of kid friendly choices too!








There were impromptu dance parties and a special birthday dance party that my DD got to participate in! She felt so special dancing with June!






I highly recommend it! It is not a must-do for us - every trip hereafter!
