How is H&V for lunch?

Have been to H&V for dinner a couple of times and it was good and reasonable - no horror stories. Bit now it appears that they phasing out the dinner service - so looking at lunch. But just wondering how loud it can get; the characters I am not even familiar with. This would be in Jauary, so may not have trouble with it, but just wondering if anyone has been there for lunch? Just looking to pick up the Fantasmic package, and Mama Melrose is not appealing and Brown Derby a bit on the expensive side, and a limited menu - DH is a simple meat and potatoes kind of guy. Just trying to figure out how to work this, thanks!

We've been there for lunch and its been great. It has disney junior characters so appropriate if you have younger kids.

We enjoyed it. Very tasty! Did not think it was loud.
