How is Fultons Crab House

My wife loves crab so it's a must visit for us.

1) Fulton's has always been disappointing
. . . slow service
. . . high prices
. . . mediocre food quality
2) However, it is getting better.
3) They are now owned by the folks that own Portobello and Wolfgang Pucks.

NOTE: Wolfgang Puck sold all his WDW eateries two years ago.

It's my husband's favorite place in all of WDW, so it's a must everytime. It's good, but is it my favorite? No. The food is good (although I'm sure there is better, after reading this thread, we may try the Flying Fish!).

For me it holds more sentimental value since it's the first restaurant we ate at on our honeymoon in 2001.

The wife and I ate there last week and it was great. I warn you though we each had 1 appetizer a main course , non alcoholic beverages and no desert and the total was about $140.00 w/ tip. It was a special occasion and we wouldnt rush back to eat there again at those prices.

Did you go for dinner or lunch? I saw on AllEars that lunch is signifigantly cheaper then dinner.

When we were there on September 6, our tab with tip, was $280.00 for the four of us--we all had appetizers, entrees, soft drinks and three desserts. It is pricey--but we have always had great food and great service.

Had we not been on the premium dining plan it would have replaced Sweet Georgia Brown's in Detroit as the most expensive meal we've ever eaten. My DH loved it, but I thought it wasn't necessarily any better than your standard Red Lobster. We had great service though! We had gone after La Nouba and my youngest fell asleep before her meal came. Our server offered to cancel her meal to save us a meal credit. If we ever do the premium plan again I'm sure we would go there again, otherwise it's just too expensive.
