Well, here's the short version .... I want a "do-over"!

I started reading a book by Joyce Meyer and in it she talks about not letting anyone steal your joy. I'm trying not to let it happen but I sure wish I could lose this black cloud that's been haunting me. I used to say I was half but I think I'm 7/8 now.

I can't believe it's 1/2 over.

I wish my summer was only 1/2 over. I have to go back to teaching7th graders on the 9th. I'm not really looking forward to that, especially since I'm pregnant. At least I'm finally getting over the morning, noon, and night sickness.

Busy! Where has it gone! My countdonw clock says 5 weeks, 2 days, 7 hours and I'm still in the throws of Sports Camp. Next week is Girl Scout Day Camp. I think the week after I have a break, the week after that I prepare for DS's 8th birthday. Then the week after that I take the kids to my parents house for a week. We are home 2 days, camp for one night and then fly out to Orlando.

I don't think I have time to sleep!

Hey sisters, I feel your pain. We don't start school until the 30th, but I'm feeling all my fun coming to a close. We are, can you believe it, camp free until oldest DS starts football training at school two weeks before school starts. Poor guy, it's from 8 am - 7 pm with a two hour lunch. Yuck!

You know Michelle, I'm not a big fan of televangelists, but I really like Joyce Meyer. I like her tell it like it is style. Too bad she doesn't have a summer camp, or I'd send her a couple relatives that could use it!!!

Sorry to hear you have to go back to school so soon Jennifer. How are you feeling? Just don't let those 7th grades show any weakness!

Karen - how's that DH of yours doing? Hope he's back to normal.

Beanie - how's your back girl??? Give us an update!

But no more PTA for me I quit! Our new PTA is a bunch of brown nosing busy bodies and I want nothing to do with it!

Thanks ladies

We now have 3 epi-pens (apparently can be used one after another if needed) We are off camping next week and the nearest city is 1 hour away so I wanted to be prepared.

It was a life changing event in this household. I am cuuting back on my volunteer time in Sept and putting more focus on the family.
