How is everyone dealing with the heat

It's important to stay hydrated. Water is best!!!! Stay inside and in air conditioning as much as posible. We are scheduled to arrive August 13 th and are starting to have a "plan b" for the parks. Thinking about not doing parks till early evening. (Being dehydrated and potential of heat stroke is no joke. Just released from hospital week ago with dehydration!!!!)

I am considered a local and it's too hot for me
I'm not clear on what "considered a local" is, but I am a local and having lived in Central Florida year round for over 25 years, it doesn't bother me at all.
my neieces are cm's and reporting it's severely hot.
And a good chunk of those years were as a CM usually working outdoors for hours at a time year round.

That's certainly part of it. I also always wore a brimmed hat and used sun screen as needed. Works for most outdoor CMs.

I live in Oregon. We visit WDW a couple times per year. I am watching the heat with interest🔥. I have twelve nights booked at the end of August, split between BC and AKL. I think that we will make more use of the resort pool that we have on previous trips 😅. I have also purchased UV lined umbrellas and those handy little neck fans that people have been posting about. I'm probably most excited about the neck fan! The Tim Tracker just posted a video about it and watching him sweat visibly less around the face has me feeling hopeful as well.

Resort pool!

We spent more time at the pool, Typhoon Lagoon and at the parks when the sun went down.

I use an Opolar fan with rechargeable battery, I like it better than the neck fans. I do like the UV lined umbrella and using a wide brim hat.

I am born and raised in the South Florida. AC and I are best friends. Im still not a fan of the heat.

The heat won't be too much different than here in the Midwest. The next 8 days are supposed to be between 93-97 with humidity. The only difference is we aren't supposed to get a drop of rain in that timeframe.
