We have several in our group with gluten issues so wondered if it’s worth a trip? If so what do you recommend?

I'm not gluten intolerant and I love them. Ya it's a little dense due to it being gf, but they're amazing

One of my best friends is gf and it's probably her favorite sweet place on the whole property

My wife likes gluten free options so we have been here a few times. In our view, their cupcakes, loaves etc. were delicious

OMG! It's absolutely delicious! I have Celiac disease and was SHOCKEd that EVERYTHING on the menu is gluten free but mouthwatering!! Worth IT?? ABSOLUTELY!!

Don't know what it's like in the covid era, but in the past, getting there before lunch was best, since they run out of things.
Vegan here, and I love Erin McKenna's. The lemon loaf is delish!

I think they're okay. It seems to be something to get and immediately eat perhaps because whenever I get it and bring it home or to the hotel room it's weird tasting and hard.

Have to disagree. I brought home banana bread on a plane from MCO to EWR and it did not taste any different. Just delicious! Be aware that if you put any bread in your carry on, it will trigger a search so make sure it's easy to get to for the TSA agent.

most people seem enamored with it. I didn’t like her stuff when it was Babycakes NYC, and I don’t like it now. I have found everything I have tried from her dry and just not as good as other gluten-free options out there (even whatever gluten-free cupcake Sprinkles is offering). I’d rather spend those calories on other things that are actually good.

We have tried several times to enjoy Erin McKenna's baked goods, however, have realized that the gluten free flour they use makes my son sick. They use a combination of Garbanzo/Fava Bean Flour, which isn't typical for most gluten free baked goods. It's not the normal rice, potato, etc., so just be aware of that in case those don't agree with you either. If you are okay with the Garbanzo/Fava flours you will enjoy the taste and variety of the products. I also recommend trying the Sprinkles gluten free cupcakes--they are way delicious!!!

To me the cupcakes and donuts tasted weird.

DH has celiac disease and we are locals and go there twice a month. He gets something called a "bakery sink" which is several items such as donuts or coffee cake slices (I suspect they're day-old but really don't know) packed in a plastic drink cup. They often have multiple flavors (chocolate/raspberry, cinnamon, lemon blueberry, vanilla - ask when you get there) and cost about half of what you'd pay if you bought the items individually. He buys one , keeps it in our refrigerator, and eats parts of it for dessert and/or breakfast for a couple of days. If you're planning on choosing individual items, he says the strawberry shortcake and pineapple upside-down cake are both especially good.

I’ve had four items and all were amazing. I didn’t care for the whipped cream on top of the brownie though. The best chocolate donut and pineapple cake I’ve ever had. It shows you don’t need milk, butter, and eggs (or traditional flour) to make amazing desserts!

I got the chocolate items before I knew about slavery on cocoa farms though- no idea if the cocoa is bean to bar (or, well, dessert) or fairtrade.
