How is DVC for Oct31-Nov5th..?

Just getting ready to submit my 7month ressie for my first DVC trip. I was wondering if anyone had an opinion as to the busy-ness of the parks, and the DVC villas, for the Oct 31st-Nov 5th week. I know the Epcot Food&Wine Festival is going on.. but generally is this a fairly light time to go?
Of course I would like to stay at BWV or BCV, but I think those are out of the question for that time of stay.

From what I understand, it is much busier than the week before and the week after. My guide called it "Jersey Week". Being from NJ I can tell you that all the public schools have off part if not all of that week and MANY travel to WDW.

We have reservations at Saratoga and are on a waitlist for a 2BR at BCV.

I just called, this morning, to change my current reservation for a one bedroom at BCV, for a one bedroom at BWV standard view, for the same dates. I was able to get the standard view for the 2,3 & 4, but I am waitlisting for the 31 & 1. Hopefully it will come through, I'd hate to have to move from the preferred view to the standard view. I was really surprised they had any standard views! So, goes to show...ya never know until you make that call! Good luck!

Forgot to mention...we usually go this week, since we're from Jersey, and it's not that crowded...the weather is perfect, too! Have fun!

We've been there during "Jersey Week". It's not too crowded....it's just that everyone walks around dressed like Bruce Springstein, humming Frank Sinatra Tunes.

I called today (and last week too) at about 12:30 to finish booking my switch from BWV one-bedroom preferred to BCV and got all my nights.

So if there's anyone out there who wanted a BWV one-bedroom preferred view for Oct 30 - Nov 4 I canceled mine!

I thought it would be much harder but it was simple! I had a hard time though getting that BWV one-bedroom!

I just switched some of my nights to BCV this morning (1 bedroom) . I was nervous, so I was on the phone at 9am. One more call tomorrow morning for the last day. Not so worried because they said it's wide open because Fri, Sat. are a lot easier to book
BTW that means a VWL studio is open on Nov. 3rd, 4th, and 5th!
Anybody else planning on MNSSHP 10/31?

Hi! We'll be flying down early Saturday morning too and arriving around 9:30a! We'll be at the BCV the 30th thru the 4th and then off on the 3 day cruise!!!

We'll be going to MNSSHP on Halloween night too!!!

I just switched this morning from a 2 br at BWV to OKW. There must have been lots of happy people getting these cancellations.
