A few of us do not like seafood. Is there enough there for non-seafood people? We have a 5:20 ressie. Is there usually a wait? Thanks for any info. Linda

I've eaten there twice... both times were just mediocre. Seafood was Long John silvers quality and other choices were blah. (mac and cheese, veggies potatos and chicken nuggets, some kind of pasta) I probably will not return.
Desserts were good though.
We waited 20 minutes but you miles will vary with wait times.:goodvibes

We've eaten there before -- but were not impressed.

I know others love it, though.

we love cape may! we've been there 3 times now and yes, there is a lot of different choices besides seafood on the buffet. there's usually some type of roast, pasta dishes, potatoes, veggies, i always like grabbing something off of the kid's buffet too(pizza, mac/cheese, nuggets) the desserts are delicious! i love the flan and the brulees. be sure and take a lot of pics outside, beautiful! i love the boat ride down to HS

I'm gonna try to not laugh at the seafood being "long john silver's quality." I've never been to a ljs that served crab legs.

that being said, my mom does not eat any seafood and loves Cape May Cafe. my whole family does, we've been there three times now and are going back in January. my cousin and his family just went to WDW 2 weeks ago and came back raving about it. Even my cousin's wife, who hates seafood, said it was one of her favorite meals of the week. the moral of the story, like any restaurant at WDW, is it depends on the person. I guess some people have higher standards than others. I consider my standards to be above average and think CMC is great.

I will add that if you aren't on the dining plan and paying out of pocket, if you don't like seafood then maybe Cape May isn't the best choice. But I think if you're on a dining plan, it's a good value in my opinion.

We enjoyed Cape May on our last trip and are planning to go back again. I loved the seafood buckets! I wasn't expecting gourmet quality but it hit the spot for me so I was happy. The rest of the family are not into seafood but they enjoyed the variety of the rest of the food and we had a great time overall. My SIL went there last year and her family enjoyed it as well.

we really liked Cape May Clam Bake! According to SD and DH, the seafood was really good. I do not eat seafood at all... and I had plenty to eat. My favorite was the mashed potatoes and dessert!!!! YUM we will be going back next year
