How is Crystal Palace for Breakfast?

nothing beats made to order choc chip pancakes and winnie the pooh

Hello from another New Hampshire disney fan. We love CP for breakfast, the puffed french toast is the best, it is on the kids section of the buffet. If you can get the early seating you can get out into the park before it gets to crowded.

We're having the same issue not being able to get into Chef Mickey's in October. We have however eaten at both Crystal Palce (for lunch) and Park Fare for breakfast. Both were good. I thought the breakfast at Park Fare was very good, and I could have eaten a whole plate of the blintzes they had. Also if your daughter likes Alice in Wonderland, she may enjoy it more then Crystal Palace. The Mad Hatter was a hoot!

Crystal Palace for breakfast is one of our favorites - it is a "must do" for us on each trip. The food is good (PUFFED FRENCH TOAST!!), the character interaction is pretty good, and the atmosphere is fun. Another nice thing about Crystal Palace is we always get an 8:00 am adr on a non-emh day, so we get in the park before it opens. It's neat to be in MK when it's basically empty + it makes for some great pics in front of the castle.

We make sure we do the Crystal Palace every trip, especially for breakfast.

It's one of my favorites - food quality is better than most character meals for both breakfast and lunch in my opinion.

We did Chef Mickey last year and Crystal Palace this year for breakfast. We much preferred Crystal Palace by far. Lots more interaction with the characters and I just prefer the venue of CP. We did CP with early magic hour at Magic Kingdom and we were the first groups in and it was very relaxing experience. I like the food at CP also and the chef at CP made special gluten free pancakes for my son which he loved. We didn't get anything from the Chef Mickey's.

I'm sold and have long forgotten Chef Mickey's! Thank you all for your responses. I am happy I got a reservation at the CP and am looking forward to it :) The food sounds great and I'd love a hug from Winnie the Pooh myself. Plus, I believer my reservation is at eight on a non EMH day so it'll be nice to be at MK when it's fairly quiet for a little bit :) Thanks again everyone!

We Love Crystal Palace! Vinny From New Jersey was an Awesome waiter! Plus we got to get in the park early and get some great castle pictures!

They even decorated our table because we just got engaged!

Chef Mickey's was a "must" for us -- until we had breakfast at the Crystal Palace! The food is better, the atmosphere is less frenzied and less noisy, and there is great character interaction.

Enjoy!

My kids (DS8, DD5 & DD4) are not big Winnie The Pooh fans, I mean, they know who they are but have never really watch anything with them in it. We had an ADR in November 2007 for breakfast, and I have to say it was our favorite meal of the whole trip. They LOVED IT  The food was great, there was plenty of choices whether you wanted a hot breakfast, cereal or fruit, there were many choices. The omelet station was awesome and they had these breakfast potatoes or something like that, that DH raved about :) The atmosphere in there is very bright and airy. Perfect way to start a day in MK. They also did a little Pooh-rade where the kids all get in line behind Pooh and march around to a song while twirling their napkins. My kids got a kick out if it and they can be a tad on the shy side sometimes....lol. :thumbsup2 We really, really enjoy it. We have another ADR this year for breakfast on out MK day and can't wait!!!:goodvibes

Crystal Palace is a repeat fav for us and the breakfast is AWESOME! I loved the cold glass of OJ they started us out with to go along with our coffee. Everything the breakfast bar offered was delish...what a treat having cold lox/salmon for breakfast! I also couldnt resist putting our Piglet pic in my sig~

This is one of the few places we haven't had a character breakfast yet.
We will have to eat here the next trip.
thanks for the info. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.:yay:

We've done CP and Chef Mickey's and for us CP wins hands down. Not only for the location (to die for), but the food is so much better and the character interaction is superb. There's even a little parade for the young children that's really cute. As the old TV commercial said: "try it, you'll like it"!!

I would have to say it was my favorite character meal we did and one I want to do every trip from here on, even if it's the only one we do. The French Toast is AWESOME! :thumbsup2
