LO will be 15 months - good character interaction? have an ADR on a Monday morning if that matters

We had breakfast at Cape May for the first time a couple of weeks ago and loved it! The food was great, and the character interaction was wonderful. The restaurant didn't seem quite as busy as other character buffets we have been to, and Minnie, Goofy, and Donald stopped by our table several times. Once, Goofy even sat down in the booth next to my daughters and helped them do a maze they were working on!

I've gone to Cape May several times for breakfast - outstanding. the food is basic breakfast fair but all very good and the restaurant is not too crowded giving the characters lots of time to interact! I've always dined with groups of adults and still the characters have spent loads of time with us.

This is one of our favorites! My nephew loved it- he was 2 at the time and he carried on quite a conversation with Donald, who listened patiently!

It is excellent but may I say go as early as possible because it is much quieter and you get a lot of character time. The later you go the more packed it gets

Cape May is a must-do for us every year. Usually get there around 8:00-8:30 and have never found it crowded nor rushed.

GREAT! we have 755 adrs, so sounds like we will be there early enough!

I completely agree with this. The restaurant opens at 7:30am and we usually get an ADR for that time or a little afterwards. This is one of our favorite character meals and is on our must do list each time we go. The food, service, and character interaction are all outstanding. We like to eat there early and then either go to DHS or Epcot for the day. Have fun.

The food is good but as the other posters said there are a lot of people and characters.

We thought the food was "so so". No fresh egg station (omletes, fried eggs) like in Park Fare or Crystal Palace. The premade scrambled eggs were pretty poor. Other things were good. But the character interaction was great, as others have said.

We love Cape May for breakfast! The food is fresh and delicious, the character interaction is top notch and the atmosphere is much more subdued than the average character meal. Both mornings that we went (around 8), the characters came around twice and really took their time with the kids.

We had a really fun time when we ate there. The characters seemed to spend a little more time at each table than at some of the more busy character restaurants.

They even took the time to say "hi" to my parents, which they really appreciated since normally when we've gone to character meals they've been ignored in favour of me or my friends since we're the "kids" of the group.

For what it's worth, the food's pretty good, too!

I love Cape May for breakfast. It's probably my favorite character breakfast. The food is typical breakfast food, but definitely plenty of choices. It's definitely quieter than some of the other character breakfasts and I felt like the interaction with the characters was better than most.

We went to Cape May on our last trip. I really enjoyed it. The food was pretty good, basic breakfast food, something for everyone. The characters were very interesting to say the least. My mom had her birthday pin on and they all made a big fuss over her. It's also a very beautiful restaraunt and resort in my opinion.
