How is Boatwright's?

We had breakfast there in December and it was great! Love the Sweet Potato Pancakes!

thought it was great last time we went, we found it to be the only TS that had a grilled cheese sandwich on their menu which was one of the few things DS would eat. Now unfortunately, I hear they don't have that anymore so I'm not sure where we'll go this year LOL

we went there several times during our 2 wk stay

Any more opinions? We are thinking of trying it during our 2 night stay at POR in August.

We love, love, LOVE Boatwrights. Never ate there for dinner but the breakfasts are wonderful, especially if you don't want to pay an arm and a leg. We have ADRs for 2 of the 3 mornings there when we go in June (staying at POR, so it will be very convient). I highly recommend the french toast....YUMMY:thumbsup2. You will not be disappointed. Check out their menus at allearsnet.com.

I was just there in March. Had the best prime rib I've ever had at Disney. CM's were terrific!

We loved it! Good food, great service, and awesome jamablaya! If you're staying at POR, you should definately give it a try.

WE had dinner there last year in 2006 and my family and I were very disappointed.

I've eaten at Boatwrights several times and we always had very good food and service.

Are you staying at POR? The food is good, but there are so many restaurants, I'm not sure I would go out of my way to eat there.

Glad to see this thread. We have an adr for our first evening (staying at pofq). We also wanted to celebrate my FIL's birthday at Boatwrights during dinner. Hoping this will be a nice time. I read that the lounge next to Boatwrights has a jazz musician like 3-4 nights a week and he is very good (I think Elliot ...something, can't think of his last name right now). We are using a TS/free dining. I'm not going to worry about it !! Keep the opinions and reviews comin' though!

Unless it has changed recently, Bob Jackson performs in the River Roost at POR a few nights a week. He is not a jazz musician but is a great piano player and he is very, very funny!! Here is a link to his home page http://www.yehaabob.com/default.asp

DH thought the Pot Roast was one of the best he'd ever had. We also had excellant service. It's not fancy but homestyle, comfort food.

We ate there for breakfast 2 or 3 times in Oct. and it was great. I love the pancakes. It is reasonably priced also.

My family liked Boatwrights a few years ago, but from looking at allears they have changed their menu. We had the biggest ice cream sundae there, so large in fact that we had one for our family and gave one to a family at another table. I think that was a dessert for two, but we shared it among the four of us just fine. I liked the prime rib. My mom wasn't crazy about the place, but we were staying at POR, so we figured it was worth a try.

Sorry! Yep, the musician I was thinking of is over at the French Quarter!
Thank you for the correction, we will try to see both!
