I ditched the Cinderlla's Royal Table after too many ppl told me it's not worth it. So I am looking at Akershus. The menu has me worried though. A lot of ppl in my group are not adventurous eaters. Any thought? Thanks!!

There are standard things on the buffet end too like fruit and oatmeal and cereal. If I remember correctly they bring you eggs and sausage table side. There are also pastries, fresh fruit, and other things to munch on too so I am sure your picky eaters will be ok.

Thanks! How about dinner? I am playing with dinner reservations too. That way we could do Le Celier for lunch too.

For dinner we went to Teppan Edo and loved it. We cancelled our Le Cellier but most of the restaurants are very good about working around diet restrictions or picky eaters.:thumbsup2 If you don't see something on the menu you can ask and they will try to make it work.

Our family enjoyed it a lot but we are not picky eaters at all. Some good friends of ours did not enjoy it and they have some picky eaters in their family.

What abour 1900PF? It's at a Monorail resort so it's not too long to get from Epcot to there and it's buffet so something for everyone. The character interaction is great; one of my kids' faves. Another great character choice is Garden Grill (no princesses there though) and the food is simple but very good.

Hope you have a wonderful time whatever you choose. :)

We have done 1800 PF. Its on the list after AKer. My dd LOVES Belle, so I am trying to find her the best odds of meeting her and I know she doesn't do 1800 PF. :)

I'd give it a try then. Little girls should defintely be able to meet their favorite princess. :) It's only one TS (instead of the 2 at CRT) and the picture is included (which when we were there was Belle, not sure if the princess in the picture rotates?).

Did you get to look at the menu?

I have to say that breakfast there is one of the best we have been too. We really enjoyed it. However, the dinner we had there was the worst ever. It was the one and only time that we actually had to find other food elsewhere after we left. I have a family of picky eaters, but I'm not at all and I really didn't like it either.

Our last few trips we have done the princess breakfast there, but for this summer my girls asked if we could go back to the castle because it is has been a few trips.

I have a family of picky eaters. The breaksfast was the best that we had all week. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The potatoes were so good. We enjoyed everything especially the character interactions. Akershus breaksfast is a must do for our family

So excited to hear the reviews. Trying Akershus for the first time in a few weeks.
princess:

We went last July to Akershus for breakfast (we are not picky eaters) and we did not like the food at all. The princesses were great and we loved the picture with Belle but we will not go back and eat breakfast there again. I will say I am glad we tried Akershus but we are going back to Crystal Palace with Pooh and friends. This is our favorite breakfast character meal. We are going to try 1900 Park Fare with Cinderella and the step sisters for dinner this July.

Linda, we LOVED 1800 Park Fare. The step sisters made the dinner, they are so funny! The food was good too. Really good for a buffet. I am just looking for Belle if I can find her, but we may do 1800 PF if the A menu is veto'd by my group

Ok, for breakfast though...How much of a PITA is it getting there? We like to be gearing up at rope drop to get Soarin FPs. And Norway is SO far back in the pavillions. We'd need First Ressies of the day. And then run marathon style at 9 to get FPs.......

We had lunch at Aksheurs on our last trip and while I wouldn't consider us "picky", I wouldn't go so far as to say we are "adventurous" either. While I would say the quality of the food was good, it didn't really match our tastes.

The Princess Experience, however, was WONDERFUL!!! The variety of characters and the quality of the interaction was just wonderful. They all stopped and chatted with DD, and we were lucky enough to meet Cinderella there!

My advice, if you have truly picky eaters is do go to Aksheurs but maybe choose breakfast over lunch or dinner as, I believe, are a few more "traditional" items for the morning meal. (Others who have actually had the breakfast, please feel free to correct if I am mistaken! :))

I am looking forward to our 1900 Park Fare dinner during our upcoming trip in October! Have not tried CRT yet, but would love to soon.

Do the breakfast. The lunch & dinner did look a little too adventerous for my DH (though I like to try new things). I booked the breakfast and it was standard breakfast foods - and we saw Belle, Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White AND Cinderella.

We were at Akershus for lunch last week and we loved it. My DD is 4 and has an egg allergy, she is pretty picky. She did the grilled chicken meal. I had the meatball traditional meal over mashed potatoes and it was FABULOUS. my husband had the chicken sandwich and enjoyed it. PLenty of selection for anyone... I think you will be fine. The pricesses were great! MY DD's jaw was on the floor she was so in love! Enjoy!
