How is 7 month availability at GF?

Hi all

After purchasing DVC in 2019, we have now had to resign ourselves to the fact that our first DVC stay this year will not be happening, we have rescheduled 3 times and on Friday night our airline here in the UK declared they were cancelling all Florida flights until 2021!

So, i have rescheduled AGAIN! This time to May 2021 - 7 nights in a 1 bdrm villa at our home resort SSR.

I am also contemplating a split stay and wondered if anyone could advise me of what the availability would be like for 3 nights (15th May) in a 1 bdrm lake view villa at the Grand Floridian?

I am dreaming here, or might that be possible 7 months out?

We stayed at VGF booking at the 7 month mark, but we had a 2 bedroom and it was late August. There was availability for that time of the year.

There is a lot of chat that next year it will be difficult to find availability due to so many folks getting bumped, canceling or rescheduling their 2020 vacations.

Hopefully, someone with experience traveling in May can help you. I also think earlier May be more available than later in the month.

Early fall looks decent for all DVC. Late fall/Holidays is pretty full.

We do not allow people to post actual room availability as it changes all the time.

1 bedrooms tend to go last so I think it’s a good type to want.
