How important is trip insurance for a WDW trip?

We will be traveling to WDW in September 09. Typically I were traveling somewhere in the Caribbean, I would 100% buy trip insurance for the unlikely event of a hurricane.

I'm torn on whether or not to spend (or waste) the extra money on trip insurance for our upcoming jaunt to WDW. I know that a hurricane can still cause problems inland, and I know that the practical side of me says to get it...

but if it means the difference between getting something you really wanted for your trip (like an upgraded hotel, upgraded dining plan, etc.) or getting the insurance....

which would you choose? I'm not thinking of the trip insurance coming into play because of a sick family members, a death, or anything like that..mainly b/c of a hurricane. Even when it's raining cats and dogs, don't people still find things to do in Disney??

HELP PLEASE!!

No way for me. It's pretty far inland, and you are pretty safe. They have tons of plans for how to protect you from earthquakes...

We got hit by Hurricane Dennis (Cat 4) in 2005. Yes, not the middle of it on the right side, but still on the right side. We had winds of about 60-70 MPH, and we were perfectly fine.
