Hi - I am beginning to stress big time:scared1: - as DH (Steve) works for the Royal Mail and its going to be difficult to get much (if any!!) time off before Christmas.

And the only reason I really want to go earlier in Dec is because I know the MVMCP parties end before Christmas week.

So my question is - If we ended up having to miss the MVMCP, would we still get to see it all?? - or are there special things that ONLY happen at the parties??:confused3

I seem to recall reading that after the parties finish, that a lot of the things carry on as they then become part of Christmas week?? Am I right??

I know that the candlelight Processional and Osborne lights will be on between xmas and NY - but I was so looking forward to the snow and cookies etc at MK!!:lmao:

In all the Xmas trips we have done never managed a party. Xmas eve is one of my busiest days of the year so can't fly until Xmas day at the earliest. Its still 100% Xmassy. They don't take anything away, Snowfall at celebration is a great couple of hours.
Again this year we arrive Xmas day and miss the parties but plenty other stuff to see.

Did My First MVMCP Last Year & I Absolutely "LOVED IT":lmao: :lmao: Going Later In December This Year And I'm A Bit Disappointed That I Will Miss It But Hey Ho Plenty Other Things To See & Do But I Will Miss MVMCP,Looking Forward To The MNSSHP In A Few Weeks:thumbsup2

Most of the shows and Christmas parade are repeated once the MVMCP nights finish. We missed one of the shows when we went to MVMCP but managed to see it a few days later during the day.

Not sure about the snow and cookies - I think they are only during MVMCP.

Although you do get snow during the Osbourne lights :)

There are more than enough special events etc. to get your fill of the Christmas atmosphere if you miss MVMCP :)
It is a really magical time to visit WDW.

Thanks Tim!!! I guess I can buy my own cookies and hot choc and just get my fill of snow at Celebration and DHS!!!

We have been a few times at Christmas - been to the party once. I think you'll have a great time without the party :thumbsup2

Go see the 'snow' at Celebration one night - we always enjoy a few hours there.

Thanks for asking this Amy. :) We were hoping to do MVMCP next year but now we have booked a cruise we realise we may have to forfeit the party if the dates don't tie up. I was hoping all the party elements would be on around Christmas itself. If we end up missing out on anything I'll just think of it as an excuse for another trip!

Roughly when are the dates for MVMCP released?
