How important is early entry at Epic

Leaving this month for a Disney Christmas trip but starting the trip with a day at EPIC. I do have a room booked at epic for the night before our epic day but I also have our DVC room for the same night as well. Debating on cancelling epic room but wondering if it’s worth one night there for early entry and then heading to our Disney room to settle in for the holidays? Thanks
