How important are ADR's?

This is our first trip to DLR and I've let time get away from me and made no ADR's. When we go to WDW I have at least one made per day way in advance so I'm starting to freak out a bit. I am not familiar with the restaurants and am just now doing some research. So, am I in trouble with regard to food :scared1: :) ?

Should I go ahead and decide quickly and try to get some reservations or is it possible to call the day before or day of and get in? What are some of your experiences?

I believe at DLR they are called Priority Seating. I've never done that days in advance, but the last time I was there was 2 years ago. So can't say how important they are now. If you know you want to go to a place in particular, you should call ahead of time. I think it I read you can call up to 30 days in advance, but you should check.

if you do charcter meals or bb then yes call otheres i wouldt worry about

If you're going in August, I would start to think about where you want to go. We're going August 23 and I already have our PS booked. Most places, even without a PS, you can get in but you may have a wait. Even in May, there were people without PS waiting to get into some of the popular TS places - Carnation Cafe - and we did not have to wait at all :thumbsup2 That being said, I've heard of people making PS the day of and getting in. I just like to KNOW ahead of time that we're good ;)
