I know this is not my 1st thread about the show, and it IS only a show, but it is really starting to bug me, the timeline is running out. The poor kids. Dear Ole dad sits them down to tell them how he met their mother 25 years ago. (BTW, in 2005, now it is 2006 so they can't possibly have their 25th anniversary in 2005 now, making my point about the timeline).
I know my dad would sit us down to tell us things, and it would end up being a 3 hour ordeal, but these poor kids! TELL US ALREADY. Instead, they get to hear story after story about all the women dad met who were NOT mom. Yeah, every kid likes to hear about that. Robin was ruled out as mom in the 1st episode, so how do these kids feel that dad is telling them how much he loved "aunt" Robin. I am sure mom will be just like Victoria, if Victoria is not mom, she will always be 2nd wheel to Robin.
Please, to the creators of this show, it is a great, funny sitcom. If you want it to last, without frustrating the viewer's, you will tell us who mom is by the season finale, THEN, next season, you will drop the kids and the narration, and just put on a funny sitcom. We really don't care where Ted ends up in 25 years.
