How Hot Will May 7 Be?

This will be our first trip in May - the 7th through the 13th. What will the weather be like? Please tell me it won't be too hot.

We used to always go in September and I just can't take the heat then. 90s and humid is just too much. So we moved to October and November trips. We missed going last year and I just couldn't take waiting until the fall to make a WDW trip.

I'm right there with you on the humid! I HATE humid, I wouldn't go in July, August or September if it were FREE....but I went last May 8th thru 13th and it was 85-90 hot to be sure, but very little if any humidity and only one surprise rainstorm that only lasted about 20 minutes. It was great!

I liked it so much, I am going May 7th-12th again this year and hoping for the same!

That weather sounds nice. What is the weather like during April vacation? Pretty much the same?

However, we looked at it and thought, ok, good, October should be around 85.....yeah, averages are just that, the week we were there it was 90 every day except one....a bit hotter than we expected/wanted, but we still had a great time!

We're from Texas and we know HOT! But, it wasn't that bad. It would start off cool in the mornings, I kept thinking I should go back to the hotel room and get a jacket, but then would warm up after noon. It gets the hottest between 2 and 5, then cool again by the evening. Since most of the rides are inside, it wasn't too bad. The only day we really felt the heat was when we went to Animal Kingdom, because you're outside most of the day. We would usually take a break when it got hot and return to the hotel for a dip in the pool . That's when the pools are less crowded since everyone's at the parks. Then we'd return in the evening. I had heard a lot about the humidity, and boy do I hate humidity ! Well, I kept imagining it hot and sticky like down in Houston and was dreading it, but it wasn't humid hardly at all! I thought I'd have a sweaty face and frizzy hair , but I didn't! We really enjoyed the weather and this year we're returning May 6-13!
