How hot is Walter's voice?

I am getting the southern lilt from Walter too -- not a twang, but a lilt. I can also sympathize with Pete about the whole "countdown to food" thing. My DH is the same way. If he's hungry, you got about 25 minutes to make food or a suitable restaurant at which to procure food. If not, you got Mount Pinatubo on your hands!!

At least you get the countdown. DH is like NOW when he is hungry. I've told him he needs to give me a little warning.

I thought it was just me! I'm happy to hear that others thought Walter sounded super hot on the podcast. It was, seriously, the first thing I thought when he started talking. It made it hard to concentrate on what he was actually saying!

For some reason I think Walter is from Georgia - or at least he has family there. Wasn't there a show where Pete told the story of him and Walter going to Walter's sister's house and driving late at night in Georgia and there were some Deliverance references? (Don't hold me to all of the details - there have been a few occassions where I get my real life confused with podcast stories.)

Bless his heart, I'm sure poor Walter has been around Mr. New Jersey (aka Pete) so much and all those other yankees in Orlando his accent is probably such a mishmash by now that even his Mama couldn't tell where he was from.

You are all as nuts as me! I couldn't be happier about it. I have been trying to place Walter's accent, too. I once knew a man from Alabama who sounded much like Hot Walter (my new name for him, by the way.)

Hoping Ursala posts the cistern plans soon,or I may just go start digging the hole out back.
