Very true, and actually right now we're at 94 with a dew point of 73....in other words. Wicked hot

At our house in upstate it hit 100 on the weather station. Currently it is a balmy 99 degrees. One plus of this is that when I go for my 2 mile walk at lunch it is good training for when we go to Disney at the end of August. That is the only good thing about it though.

I HATE the heat! At 5 pm here, it was 96 degrees, with a "feels like" temperature of 100 degrees. I don't know our current humidity, but the yearly average is in the 70's, with over 100 days with temps in the 90s. I've always said that we're the only ones who cool down when we go to WDW, no matter when. And last time at BCV, I met a CM from our hometown who's been in Orlando for a few years now and she agreed! One big difference, though, between here and the northeast, where so many people are suffering-everywhere here is air conditioned. As a former Massachusetts-ian (who wishes I was back there), I've learned something-if it's really cold, you put on more layers. But in the heat, there's only so much you can take off-then you're naked and STILL uncomfortable! Right now, y'all in the northeast have my sympathy.

My poor Kids-at camp all week with 90's here in Wisconsin! -Tommorow is suppose to be better-dew points in the 60's-Temps in the Low80's-but at least our pool is getting used a lot this year-last year we only used it about 7-8 days top

Really hot and sticky here in Michigan too - if it's going to be in the 90's anyway I'd rather be in Disney. 2 more days and the forecast looks like it won't get over 92 - better than our last trip when it was in the mid to upper 90s!

I live just north of MK. And there are some major bad looking clouds passing over us right now, heading for MK.
The air has significantly cooled. The wind is kicking in strong.

What a wild ride!!
71 degrees now. Poring, but letting off. Strong lightening everywhere. Even hail, that kept getting larger.
The winds were SOMETHING. Looking out my front looked like a hurricane all over again.

Oh great -- I got to take more photos -- of the TREE limb that fell on DH's car while he was parked in a nearby recreation area.
He went out running right before the storm hit. This just came on so suddenly. He left right before the clouds came in.
I feel very lucky he was not injured. But dang, the car is only a year old.

99 today here in KY -- WDW this past weekend actually was much more pleasant than here!! The afternoon storms always brought a nice cool breeze.
