We are going to be joining a wedding party my BIL is in for the 5:15 Spirit of Aloha Show on July 4th. How hot will it really be considering it is "outside". Do they have fans or misters? I don't really enjoy eating when I am super hot and we also have a two year old to deal with.

I have a backup ADR at Ohana (Which was our original planned ADR) but the group really wants us to eat with them. I need to make this decision soon, so I can free up my ADR for someone else.

What would you do?

Thanks,
Carrie

1) There are overhead fans.
2) But during July, all they do is move around the hot and humid air.
3) They do ot actuall help cooling very much.
4) YOU WILL GET HOT AND STICKY.

Yes, I agree. We were there last week and thankfully there was a breeze, but it will be sweltering in July.

Wow--I hadn't even thought about the heat at the Spirit of Aloha. I have an ADR there for an 8:00 show in August. Has anyone done that before, and how was it???

Thanks for the confirmation. I figured it would probably be almost unbearable but my husband seems to think it will be fine. But he grew up in a part of the state where it is over 100F everyday of the summer and they didn't have any A/C.

I really want to stick with Ohana, but I have to work to convince him. Hopefully your posts will help.

Thanks,
Carrie

Ive done it at all times. 8:00 is the best time to go because you get more out of the night experience (fire dancer, fireworks from magic kingdom at the end of the show, cooler). You will be hot but it won't be terrible, its free refills so just keep asking for anything cold.
