We have been the past 2 summers in August because of free dining and to be perfectly honest the first year I found it very hot but last year very comfortable and the temps were pretty much the same. I think because I knew what to expect. I personally like the fact that it is guaranteed heat (in Nov one year it was too cool to swim), packing is very light (no pants or long sleeves) and the parks are open late. With the exception of AK, you are in and out of a/c all day it really isn't that bad. Plus, it's hard to ignore free dining!

For me, it is a great time to go because the crowds are low and I don't have to wait in long lines. Also, the prices are lower, so I save money.
My skin never feels as good as when I'm in Florida! Let those people have their desert. I would look like a raisin if it weren't for humidity!
