How have the crowds been this week (June 4-9)?

We are thinking of going either this time next year or the end of July/beginning of August. Has it been really busy? How has grad nights/days affected things? Thanks!

I'm not sure that is a question that can be answered at this point.

With Carsland opening on the 15th I think all past predictors will be thrown out the window.

Maybe reask your question mid august when there has been some experience with crowds with the new attractions open.

i went 3 days this week and it was busy...in fact, on tuesday it was busier than either sunday or monday...and none of these days were grad nite days....tuesday night we stayed till midnight and we watched 2nd showing of WOC and then went over to DL thinking that it wouldnt be packed because monday night was nothing after F!...its like everybody left but....I think alot of people had the same idea as we did and they all went over to DL till midnight...at 11pm there was 110 min. wait for SM....its only going to get worse from here and grad nights started bk up their final week yesterday

Tuesday was the last day for SoCal Select AP holders to go until August 20th, so that may explain the crowds on Tuesday.

We did DCA Tuesday afternoon and it seemed busy but not horrible, but we were doing mostly the Fliks Fun Fair things for the first-timer 3 year old we brought with us. Wednesday and Thursday we were at DL early, took afternoon naps, and went back in the evening. Crowds weren't bad but there were lots of grads, a few groups of which were loud and obnoxious but not threatening or anything...wait time in the evening on the big rides like Star Tours and Space Mountain were bad, and we checked the wait at Tower of Terror Wednesday evening and it was 165 minutes!!! This morning at DCA seemed the least crowded so far, but one CM mentioned that fast passes for Tower of Terror were generally gone this week by 1 pm, which suggested that's where the grads had been heading.

We've been using fast passes as best we can, but we have had a lot of rides that were unexpectedly just walk ons, like Little Mermaid in DCA, Pirates and Haunted Mansion in DL.

well i didnt do Flik's so i cant answer to how crowded it was and you did say you went back to hotel...we stayed the entire day and it was more crowded that day than the previous day....i did see alot of kids with the graduation caps on but tuesday wasnt a grad nite...could have been that they were there early for yesterdays event idk....and it wasnt busy at all in the am...but by around 1:30 or 2ish is when it started getting bad and stayed that way the rest of the day and into the night...the one thing I liked was that screamin had a 35 min wait the majority of the day till around 5 and then it jumped but we went to get in the standby line and they cut it off because of WOC...then at about 6 something i went to get popcorn and i saw 2 of the trains stuck on the track...one was going uphill on the mickey circle...boy was i glad that i wasnt there...they ended up having to be taken down because the train stayed up there on the tracks the entire night...ugh i would hate to have to climb down those stairs

Man Tuesday was a beast. So was Monday IMO (At DCA anyway). Sunday was pretty good. The grad night was great during the day and only got crowded toward evening when the grads started showing up. They were pretty rowdy in lines and kept doing irritating screams/cheers/whatever.

We were in the parks on Wed,Thurs, and Fri. It seemed to me to be very crowded, but the lines for everything we wanted were easily manageable. We rode the major rides early in the morning or later with fastpasses. I was worried about the grads because I have young children, but we didn't have any trouble with them at all.

We were there Wed and Thurs too, and the crowds didn't seem too bad and we hardly noticed the grads. On Wed, we hit Indy 2x, Spash, BTM 2x, HM, Small world, Pirates, Tiki room, Jungle Cruise, Buzz lightyear 3x, Star Tours, Nemo ride, Mr. Toad, Storybook cruise, Captain EO and Fantasmic's first showing. I can't remember if we did anything else that day. On Thurs we did had breakfast at Jolly holiday, did Buzz again, got a fast pass for Star Tours, hopped to DCA and did Toy story Mania, Ferris wheel, silly swings, Muppets 3D, Little Mermaid, Monsters Inc, animation studios and drew Donald Duck, checked out the Grand Californian lobby, GRR was still shut down so we hopped to DL and did Star Tours again and rode the monorail, back to the Hojo for a quick dip, then back to DCA for WOC, and then Goofy's sky school. Went to DTD for a final shop then went back to the hotel.

All in all, I think we got a lot done. Of course, AP's were blocked, and Carsland was not open, so next year may not be the same. Also, it was our first trip to DL/DCA, so we only have WDW to compare it to, and then we've only gone off season there.
