How have the crowds been? 4/9

How have the crowds been during this years spring break? Anyone there now or just back?

I'll be there in 5 days for a DL spur of the moment quickie!

We just returned Monday. Last week, April 1-3 the crowds were surprisingly lighter than we expected. It seems the Disney folks believe Spring Break is pretty much over. We were also there on Sunday, 4/6 and it was much more crowded...probably due to it being a weekend.

I read on another site that the crowds on Mon and Tues were pretty heavy this week. Julie Andrews' book signing added to the crowds yesterday, I'm sure. I think this week is one of the last of the Spring Breaks. If you are going mid-week next week, I would expect crowds to be lighter than the last couple weeks have been.

I was there on Monday and it was pretty crowded compared to other off-season weekdays I've been, but it wasn't awful.

The hours are longer this week too, which helps.

I bet next week will be great!

Oh! Thanks so much everyone. My DD21 moved to Los Angeles recently and this will be my 4th trip to visit with her. I promised myself on the last visit that next time would include a few days at Disney! I get to see my daughter AND ride the Matterhorn!

Today was busier by far than Tues, Wed had been. Probably because it was much warmer today.

The state of Washington has been on spring break this week and I think they're all at DL. It's been pretty crowded. Last week (the first week of April) wasn't busy). Also, one of the local districts (Garden Grove, which borders Anaheim) has had this week off.
