Sorta funny. Yesterday, DH and I decided we'd take the kids down to King's Dominion theme park down in Virginia. It's about two hours away from home and we have annual passes. We were expecting maybe a shower in the morning and a risk of thunderstorm in the evening. Figured we'd stay till closing at 9. Binge on deep fried park food.

Whelp. We got there just before 11 am opening and did a bunch of family rides. It's been pouring almost nonstop since noon. We bailed at 4:30. We had raincoats, but we're cold and soaked. The remaining rides we wanted to do were closed, I guess from the rain.

Almost home now. Traffic has been bad. Going to make some pierogi and kielbasa for dinner instead of funnel cakes and boardwalk fries.

So only a little off.

Both my husband and I dumped food on the floor today for no apparent reason.

My husband and I thought we’d go out to breakfast and go for a walk but then I got a text from our daughter-in-law asking if I could watch our 3 granddaughters tomorrow. Oh well, try another day. We’re constantly torn between elderly parents and grandchildren. Just want to get to the point where we can think of ourselves.

My roommate and I lost the paperwork for my blood work canceled my appointment on top of the blood they wanted pee sample I was not ready for that

Found it luckily I got into quest quickly

Found out from pt my time is up despite I am still making progress

Found out my vitamin b12 is so low I have to get shots

My adult son has Covid. I was out running around with him right before symptoms. Messed up a lot of my plans.
