How has it been at MCO?

I was just wondering how long it is taking to get through security at MCO.

Any recent travellers?

Just returned yesterday. I was quite amazed to find out that there was curbside check-in. Not all airlines were but United was! Lines are LONG! But some seem to move rather quickly. Security? I was sorta amazed at that as well. When we flew from Dulles, our bags were x-rayed, security checked everyone with the wand, looked through my husband's carryon bag. But at MCO, none of that happened! I didn't feel that MCO this year was any different than last year! I was pretty relaxed flying although I had lost many hours of sleep and had many hours of worrying and trying to decide if we should go or stay home.

I also traveled yesterday. The lines were very long but they moved very quickly. They were doing spot checks on carry ons. I had to show my ID twice. I saw six police officers at the check points. Someone had left their luggage for about 30 seconds and was told he had to carry it. I would say it took me an hour to get from curb to gate.
