Good Morning Everyone - Trying to decide where to stay. Wondering if Ubers will be plentiful during holiday weeks? I will have some elderly people with me who will either need to stay onsite or hopefully have no problem getting a timely rideshare. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Can’t imagine it would be…always Ubers cruising Harbor anytime. Even at park closing, I’ve never waited more than 8-10 minutes. Beware of those who want to pick you up across the street, I had to cancel two different rides because they didn’t want to face the pick up area during rush times.

How did you find out that's what they wanted to do? Did the driver send you a text message after you had confirmed a ride?

The driver called me and said I needed to go over to Desert Inn to be picked up. We “discussed” it ( no really, it was more like arguing lol) and then he told me he was canceling my ride and I needed to rebook it. Happened to me twice, once last December (not Christmas, but early in month) and once this July.

I think they must have been rookies cause no one else ever balked at coming in that area, either dropping me off or picking me up.
