Is it true they don't take PS's?

If we were to go on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend around 5pm (we like to eat dinner early), would we be okay?

Anyone have a hard time getting a table at busy times?

You are correct that ESPN doesn't take PS's. We go at least once every trip, and have never had a problem getting a seat. We even went last year during Spring Break, they had Rod Woodson from the Raiders as a guest speaker, and we were able to get seats for 4 almost the moment we walked up.

I would imagine the early eating time would not be a problem.

I agree. We go every trip and have never had to wait. In December, it was Sunday with all the football games and they even asked what team we were for and we got a table in an area of Packer fans to watch the game on the TV they had showing that game. Especially for an early dinner I don't think you'll have much of a problem. Another time we saw the football player Kevin Green interviewed. My boys liked that.

We have had to wait on a Sunday evening, during football season. ;) As soon as the game that was on ended, the place cleared out and the line to get in moved quickly. Other times we have been able to walk right in. Once we werent going in, but we did see a long line on a Saturday night. I think it just depends on what if any special sporting events are going on.
Good luck!

1. No PS available.
2. At 5pm, you should be OK.
3. Yes, but usually at around 7pm.

There are two dining areas, on the left in the "arena" type area and straight ahead in the bar area. If there is a sports personality appearing, it is usually at 7pm. Usually the wait is shorter for the bar area, there are tables and booths in this area.
Arriving at 5, you should be able to go right in.

It is a pretty large place. We have never had a problem getting in but the crowds are obviously influenced by the particular sporting events in season. Food is good, large portions. Enjoy! ::MickeyMo

I have had problems later in the evening on weekend nights and when there is a special sporting event going on. If you plan to arrive at 5:00, you should not have any problems. I have learned that the earlier you get there the better. It is easier to get seats in the bar area but that can get very loud. If you are dining with children, the actual restaurant is more fun. There are TV screens everywhere.
As a side note, make sure you check out the restrooms. You'd be surprised where you find TV monitors!

Has anybody had much of a wait for lunch on a Sunday?

of games for the 04-05 college football season(not counting the Robinson Classic, etc the week before). I have been there on Sat when it was packed. Depends on who is playing and if there are any marquis matchups.

HAIL TO THE VICTORS!!!!!!!

We were there for lunch on NFL draft day and it was packed! Even so we only waited about half an hour for a table. The only annoying thing is having to stand in line to wait for the dining room. I wish they could just hand out pagers like everywhere elso does. I mean don't they want people to be able to visit their bar while they wait? ;)
