How hard to get BCV or VWL at 7 month...

How hard is it to get BCV or VWL at the 7 month window in Feb, May, and/or Sept.

I had to go on the WL for about a month, but I did get a 2br at VWL for early May last year.

I was only looking for 2 nights in a 2 BR villa to complete my trip this Sept (I booked in late June). I was able to get one night at BCV and one at VWL So, now I'm waitlisted for the second night for BCV. We'll see how it goes--I only have 43 more days until my trip!

I was able to get a 2 bedroom at VWL for Labor Day weekend at the 2 month mark. It our precruise stay and we are so excited! What a great start to our trip!

It's only 2 months out, but I couldn't get a studio at VWL for a long weekend in September. At 7 months, I was able to change 2 nights from AKV to BCV, studio, also for September. The 2 nights were all I wanted to change, don't know if the whole week was available at the 7 months out. It was only earlier this week that I decided that if I'm flying down, it may as well be for 3 more nights. Didn't cost that much to change the air.

Thanks everyone for your input. We are waiting ROFR for 150pts at OKW and are curious how hard it is to book at the 7 month mark.

I have never had a problem booking OKW at the 7 month mark during any month...........but we have always wanted a 1 bed. We have also managed to book Vero 1 bed and HH (in JULY) 1 bed all at the 7 month mark, so have been really lucky!

This time we are looking for BCV 1 bed for 5 nights at the end of August/start of Sept at the 7 month mark. Does anyone have any experience of trying to get into BCV at this time of year?

Our waitlist came through for VWL. It is a 2BR during the week of labor day. I originally booked at AKV, but was concerned about the construction noise. So I called in late June. Nothing was available, but I waitlisted. It came through about 2 weeks later.

I'm also waitlisted for a stay in December, so we'll see how that one goes. I'm not feeling as strong about VWL in December. Everyone loves that place at Christmas!

The very best of luck at getting VWL at Xmas.....think lucky thoughts!!! I thought we would never get HH in July at the 7 month mark but we did, and that was without the wait list. I'm sure it will happen for you!
