For Thanksgiving we are going to Disney. We will arrive on Sunday the 19th. How hard is it going to be to get a reservation for LTT for Thanksgiving dinner? There use to be a countdown for dining reservations that told you when to call--does anyone know where this is. I know that I can call at 180 days out and make reservations for 10 days. So technically I could call for reservations 180 for that Sunday and try for Thanks. right? Or if I wnated to be dishonest I could call earlier and make a reservation for the 13th or 14th of November to have Thanksgiving as my 10 day window and make my reservation for Thanksgiving (not that I would do that) Just asking. Thanks.

How would you do this?

My understanding of the way the ADR's work is you must call 180 days before the day you want - so if you are going for 10 days you call 180 days before the first day - then the next day you call for day 2 of your trip, then the next day you call for day 3 of your trip. I don't believe you can make all ten days of ADRs on the first 180 day out date. That would mean that you are making ADR's at 181 days, 182 dyas, etc. I would plan on calling early - be one the phone at opening time to get LTT for Thanksgiving day...good luck

Maggied, My understanding is the rules have changed. They now allow the 180 + 10 so you can make your ressies more than 180 days out. I believe this applies only to resort guests and the +10 is actually however long your stay is. So you don't have to call back each day, you can make them all at once.

As for the OP question, I have heard they hold back some of the ressies so they aren't all gone for those who have shorter vacations and can't book as far out. Hopefully they'd do that for LTT on Thanksgiving since it is sure to be a hot spot. But sorry I don't have more advice for you. JJ

Thanks, I will try the 180 for the 19th of November and just se if they will let me continue making reservation for the remainder of our trip. If so I should be able to get my LTT :thumbsup2 Wish me luck.

Good Luck! I tried immediatly at 7 am when my window opened up for 2004 but couldn't get my first selection. I think that the resort restaurants actually book up first because a lot of people don't want to use a park ticket that day, so maybe it won't be TOO bad.

I'd have a couple of back-up options though, just in case.
