How hard is Photoshop elements 8?

Costco has it for $49.99 the next 2 weeks. How hard will it be for me to learn this? I've been using Printshop and that has it's quirks.

PSE does have a fairly high learning curve. Good news is there are plenty of on-line tutorials for free (also some for a membership fee) and a forum, www.elementsvillage.com, with wonderful people that are more than willing to help. I'd also recommend becoming a member of their sister site, photoshopelementsuser.com. The tutorials and newsletter are well worth the fee. The free brushes, shapes, and patterns are a nice bonus.
