How hard is it?

How difficult is it to find earlier dinning hours if your ressie is later? My kids are used to eating at 4:30pm-5pm. Most of our ressies are at 8pm. Any suggestions? Right now Im thinking that we'll eat a late snack around 4pm so they'll be hungry at dinner. Right now Im worried that it'll mess with our normal touring. Maybe I should just ditch the DDP? What do you think?

Why don't you move your ressies and plan on a late dessert around 8:30? With all of the walking, you guys will be hungry earlier than usual. Keep the DDP. We really liked it

Are you on the Basic Plan? Why not use the TS for either breakfast or lunches. Many lunches go 'til 3pm or so. That may be easier than trying to adjust dinner to earlier times. If you do breakfast in the late morning as a the big meal of the day you can then use the CS credit for dinner and that can be whenever you want. You can also try some less popular places for dinner (Turf Club at SSR, Grand Floridian Cafe, etc.) Also if you chose to book a Fantasmic package it is likely that you'll get an earlier dinner slot that night.

We had a great lunch at Coral Reef and I'd book it again in a heart beat for a reprieve from the park and a great meal. We ate everything in sight (well not the fish in the tank ) and barely ate that night. We grabbed some food from Peco Bill's during the Princess and Pirate party, but none of us liked it so most of it was wasted. Good thing we were sharing a CS credit!

Thanks for the suggestions. I booked our TS meals later this time (about 45 days out) and there werent any lunch or dinner seatings left, besides the 8-9pm slots I got. Would have been happy to have a late lunch. I thought I'd call back to see if we could change our ressie to a different time. What are the odds of walking in early and getting in? I heard a lot of ADR no show.
