How hard is it to get a table if we just walk up (late April at TRex)

As I was preparing to make flight arrangements for our upcoming trip, I realized that if I made a minor adjustment in our travel dates (from Sat to Sat to Tues - Wednesday following week), I could reduce our costs by over $500. My main obstacle is dining reservations. I'm trying to get a Thursday night in late April reservation for dinner at TRex (this is really the ONLY night we can do this b/c we would be coming from staying onsite at Universal and checking in this night to DW property) but there is nothing at all available. We have not done T-Rex before and I have a gift card that is good there, so I don't have to use any of our Table Service credits. What are the chances that we would get seated if we just show up that night and wait for a table? We are a family of 5, in case that makes a difference. I've always had reservations for table service so haven't tried just walking up.
