How hard is it to get a seat at the Nomad Lounge?

Since AK is open until 8 pm when we go, instead of going anywhere for a full dinner, we thought we'd go to the Nomad Lounge around 5 or so.
We can make a dinner by ordering a few appetizers.

Is it hard to get a seat for 2?

I was there a few weeks ago around that time. It was pretty empty, seemed like a lot of people around me at the bar were Disney employees. And there were some who were having a drink before dinner next door. There were free tables both inside and outside. Of course, no guarantees, but it did not seem like it drew a big crowd. (I had the lionfish tacos! Most of the appetizers looked good.)

We have been a number of times and have always been able to get a seat, there was one time that the inside was pretty crowded and we sat at the bar but that was no problem.

I don't think you will have any issue, there is quite a bit of seating both inside and outside, we have never not been able to get a seat.

No trouble in June at that time. It is my favorite lounge now too. I liked the outdoor seating and the menu. Can also get food from Tiffins. I am looking forward to spending time here more than Pandora! One of the reasons I am thrilled the park got extended in October.

It was full inside and out Memorial weekend (Pandora opening weekend)!

We haven't been post-Pandora, but on other visits it was largely empty. I have absolutely no idea why as they are serving some of the best drinks on property for some pretty amazing prices. We've only had the ribs here and have eaten our other meals at Tiffins, but the food will most definitely not disappoint.

I would like to try the Tempting Tigress drink on the deck there. @kastoney mentioned it in a dining review report. I looked it up, and it sounds incredible. I am certain that I would love the 10 year old bourbon in it.

I was there 2nd week of June during Pandoramania. Nomad lounge empty at 7:30.

That drink is amazing. I always stop over at Nomad for one or two when we are at AK.

We had a Tiffin's reservation at 5:15 on Aug 19 and when we went through Nomad's it was mostly empty. By the time we finished our meal it was packed and the bathrooms had lines. Based on our experience I would say you should be fine with your planned time, but I would try to stick to it rather than showing up later.

We went around 8 pm a couple weeks ago-drinks and couple small plates to share. Was nearly empty. Get the ribs! OMG! we got them on advice from the bartender and it was a good recommendation! I got the Snow Leopard drink-very good-and money goes to preserving the snow leopard in the wild with every drink ordered!
Both the bartender and our waiter the next night at Tiffins told us the place was Joe Rhode's hangout when he comes to AK-good story/lore that adds to the place
