How hard is it really to get a CRT ADR?

OK, if you call 90 days out in the AM, how likely is it to get a Cinderella's Royal Table Reservation at a decent time slot for 6 or more? Are these really as impossible to get as people make them out to be? Also, can you call 180 days out for these?

As far as I know all adrs are 90 days. I don't know about adrs for a party of six. In 2002, my DW and I got an adr there - I know she didn't get it right off the bat - it was the 4th or 5th morning she called, but she did call every morning at 7am starting on the very 1st day she could start calling. It was similar situation in 2004 - adr for 2 - 4-5 days calling to get it. Last year we got an adr for 3 on the 1st morning of calling - not difficult at all. This might be due to the fact that we went at a slower time of year last year than in 2002 & 2004 or maybe it's easier to get now or both :confused3

I was not as fortunate. I had gotten an ADR for CRT breakfast for my trip last December. Then in mid-September, my dates in December changed, and I called from that day forward, many days, two, 3 times per day and I was not able to get that darn ADR. I was very very dissapointed. I even had my name on the excel spreadsheet for ADR's on the board and I still was not able to get it. Then the window was 180 days so I am not sure with the 90 day window if it will make it a little easier. good luck!!

I called this morning and got my adr for crt for june. I only had one choice of times for breakfast and that was 8:10. I could have also had lunch or dinner.

I think it depends on the time of year. Twice I've called with less than 90 days and was able to get a lunch at CRT and a dinner. We booked trips about 60 days out in October and May. I was also able to book dinners at the luau, HDDR and Ohana w/o a problem.

I've had no problem booking CRT for June. I first booked brekkie, then changed to dinner, then changed to lunch, calling about a month apart.

When I called for our June trip on Monday I was told there was only one opening for our weeks stay for dinner between 4 and 6pm. I took it.

I made reservations yesterday at our 90 day mark for June and was able to get it no problem (lunch). We also went in 2007 and had breakfast and I didn't have a problem getting the reservation. I did call both times at 7am. Like another poster said, if you don't get it the first time keep calling back to check - you just might get lucky!

Also, if you don't get it, check with the restaurant the day of. Last Friday we were walking by around 9:30 am and checked to see if they could take us for lunch or dinner and they couldn't BUT they said they could take us for breakfast right then if we wanted. We did not because we had already eaten in the room that morning.

On my 90 day 7 am I made all of my reservations. Around 2 pm that afternoon I decided to call back and try to get the castle for breakfast and just randomly picked 6/27 and I was able to get Saturday 6/27 8:10 am.

What do you think of Oct, midweek, say the 27th, 28th? That's not peak season. Do I really need to wake up at 5am to call?

Also wondering if you just say "I'd like Cindy's for lunch" and then if it's sold out can they quickly tell you if there's availability for breakfast. Wouldn't want to do Dinner. We want to have the princesses come to us.

It's DD's dream to eat in the castle once. I think the price is a bit much, but I thought I might try it this fall.

Yes, you do need to start dialing the phone at exactly 6:58 am EST if your DD must dine there. Yes, you can get lucky and get a cancelation, I did during Thanksgiving week. But I wouldn't depend on it.

Also be very flexible. Tell the CM that you'd like breakfast on this day, but can also do this or this. Lastly, we'll take lunch on those same days.

It's a challenge, but a fun one.

So which meal is better for a 4 y.o.? I'm trying to decide which I'd try for 1st for DD's b-day.

I would not mess around too much. I know it is rough to get up early but if you need to see the princesses this is a great place.

Remeber too you must pay for the meal when you are booking and there is a 24 hour cancellation policy if you want your money back.. This can make it more difficult to get a reservation later or someone could cancel and give you a nice surprise.

I would not chance it though. Set that alarm clock and start dialing:wizard:

I'm hoping to book CRT for the day before the free dining starts in August...here's hoping that day will be easier to get since so many will change their plans in order to take advantage of free dining!!!

how simple the new system is now for looking at multiple times. I did ADRs this week including CRT 12:05 lunch). About 45 minutes into my wait I was put on hold and somehow was transferred back to the initial questions and, I presume, started my wait time over.

I forgot to make the BBB reservation which I believe use the same system. The CM explained that she could only put in a time and see availability for a half hour. So for BBB she looked at 10:00 AM which I requested with no availability. Then she put in 10:30 on her own with availability. I asked her to check for an earlier time and she put in 9:30 and found availability.

The system seemed to be running a bit slow, (She talked during the wait time explaining what was going on) and, it appeared to me, she was not very experienced with the system.
